The sixty-minute documentary follows the journey of a small group of Kunama refugees as they travel from the Shimelba Refugee Camp in Northern Ethiopia to their new home in Rhode Island. Guiding this transition is the resettlement agency, International Institute of Rhode Island, that guides and empowers these newly arrived Kunama as they strive to become self-reliant, invested participants in their new home.
